Evaluation Meeting on Research and Industrialization of New Manufacturing Technology of Flake Zinc Powder was Held

 

On 25 November, Technological Achievements Evaluation Meeting on Research and Industrialization of New Manufacturing Technology of Flake Zinc Powder accomplished by Shenzhen Nonfemet Technology Co., Ltd and Kunming University of Science and Technology was chaired by Shenzhen Hi-tech Industrial Association in Shenzhen Nonfemet Technology Co., Ltd, organized by Trade Association of Shenzhen Intermediary Technology, approved by Bureau of Science and Technology and Information of Shenzhen City.

 

 

The Group vice president Liu Zhende, enterprise management department chief manager Li Changzheng and vice manager Fu Zhihong presented the meeting, and zinc flake customers like Shanghai Dacroment Surface Treatment Company’s general manager Huang Huaqing were invited. Wu Yong, the president of the Dacroment Association, chaired the technology evaluation meeting as the chief of the experts group.

 

At the meeting, Ms. Cai Xiaolan, professor of Kunming University of Science and Technology, introduced the background and technology of flake zinc powder project and the present achievement.

 

Evaluation committee members heard the project technology report and visited the manufacturing workshop.

After communication, representatives presenting at the meeting gave their opinions and praises as follows.

1. It is a successful flake zinc powder manufacture technology with proprietary intellectual property rights, which substitutes normal ball milling with high-energy ball milling to manufacture zinc flake with the advantages of high efficiency, energy-saving, easy control, and steady good quality. The key technical indexes of this kind of zinc flake have reached the advanced standards of international similar products.

2. Complete equipments, especially the horizontal high-energy agitator ball mill have been successfully developed. Compared with foreign equipments with double electric drivers, this mill uses single electric driver which solves difficult problems of dynamic balance and dynamic seal very well under High speed revolution, and fills the domestic gap.

3. In compliance with the industrial policy of national circulating economy, this project takes the byproducts of the zinc powder for battery of the company as the raw materials and makes full use, which realizes the resource saving and recycle.

4. This project has been put into industrial production and the products partially replace imported products with remarkable social benefits, which will greatly promote the technology and market development of domestic zinc flake and zinc-base anti-corrosive paint.
